In depth

Verdict

JOE STRUMMER has been placed a couple of times over a mile and has enough stamina in his pedigree to suggest he'll stay the extra here. He could give Michael Bell and Hayley Turner a quick double as this probably isn't as competitive as the numbers suggest. Burza and Come And Go both disappointed last time, but Rockweiller is in decent form and shouldn't be far away again. Top weight Classically and Corrib, successful at Chepstow in June but beaten twice since, are other with claims along with Luca Cumani's Kempton third Desert Chieftain.
