In the absence of Midnight Moon perhaps RAAJIH can be the one to make a winning debut. John Gosden's horse is a half-brother to Taqleed, a smart animal whose maiden victory came over course and distance. Providing market signals are positive he might just be able to overcome his lack of experience. Of those to have raced Dragonera and Defence Of Duress qualify for handicap marks after this run and along with Maharana and Discovery Bay may do better as three-year-olds over middle distances. Discovery Bay is probably the pick of them having caught the eye making late headway on his debut although Paul Hanagan's booking aboard Maharana, a brother to Anhar, should ensure he attracts support.
