Verdict

SMALIB MONTERG won over hurdles last month and ran well on his return to the Flat at Yarmouth last week. He can race off the same mark today and gets the nod ahead of Tram Express. The latter has been placed on the all-weather of late and is only 2lb higher than when scoring at Wolverhampton in December while Royal Sea went close at the same track before a five-length defeat when runner-up at Catterick last time. Man Of Plenty and Bounty Seeker have the past form to get involved but were both tailed off on their latest outings
