Plenty of front runners are due to line up for this contest which could set the race up for one coming from off the pace and that could well be Sahaadi who is given the vote. Richard Hannon's charge is un-penalised having landed an apprentice handicap over this trip last week, winning in impressive style having appeared to get out-paced when a break neck pace was set. The selection had been noted to race far too keenly throughout his races over further earlier this season and as a consequence was failing to get home but a strongly run six could well be the key to him as he will not be wanting come the business end. Frankie Dettori is an eye-catching booking of the Nicky Vaughan trained Maryolini, who returns to what appears a more suitable trip of six furlongs. Of his nine career outings only three have been on turf but she has appeared to struggle off her revised mark since her last success. Mango Music carries a 6lb penalty for a very easy Pontefract success where she did get things her own way on the front end. That is unlikely here and a mark of 85 carries her very close to her highest ever mark. Orpen Fire drops back to six furlongs and is another contender that likes to dominate. Soft ground was her undoing last time (finished ahead of Celtic Lynn) but her two previous efforts where she travelled well before being out-pointed inside the final furlong would leave her with claims. Overwing has taken a hike in the weights and has struggled since an all the way success was achieved at Leicester last month. Quaroma broke his maiden tag over the minimum trip at this track last season and connections have rightly made the decision to step him up in trip. He is worth keeping a close eye on for handicaps later in the summer but for today Sahaadi is the selection.
