Verdict

Plenty with chances in a wide-open handicap though it could pay to stick with ARABIAN COMET. She scored by over four lengths at Wolverhampton last time and an apprentice negates most of a 6lb penalty. Bridie Ffrench ran well enough on her handicap bow when third at Haydock while Amaseena will be more at home in this company after competing in a Listed race at Newmarket in November. Polytrack winners Maiden Approach, Nimble Kimble and Platinum Pearl all step up to a mile for the first time and a return to today's distance will suit Stereo Love, a runner-up over track and trip last term.
