In depth

Verdict

Sills Vincero and Rio Cobolo look more than capable of making the money here but our selection BILLY BEETROOT looks the likely winner. The selection had showed some ability in the second of three outings in maiden company last term and sported a first-time tongue tie for his handicap debut last time out. He ran with plenty of credit having been handy from the start and He ought to come on for that first start since September and this is a superb chance for the three-year-old gelding to clinch a first career win. Sills Vincero makes his return to the turf here after bounced back at Wolverhampton last time after a slightly disappointing effort at Lingfield earlier in March. The filly comes from a yard that have done well here in the past, the modest company and wide draw here can see her there or thereabouts. Three-year-old Rio Cobolo has recently returned to action after a three month spell away from the track. He was largely disappointing last time over the artificial surface but was a course and distance winner here on his last outing over turf and he should remain competitive in his lowly company. This could prove to be a three horse race with little else making any appeal. Abby Belle and Impressible return from long stints on the sidelines but were both in decent form before then but we can look no further than Billy Beetroot.
