Verdict

Mark Johnston looks to have found SHERNANDO a good opportunity. A maiden winner over a mile last year, he showed enough in three subsequent starts over middle-distances to suggest this longer trip will suit and is taken to make a winning return against modest opposition. The best of those could turn out to be Bollin Greta, though she's 6lb higher than when winning at Redcar last October. Emrani won three times in Ireland for John Oxx but finished last over 2m at Kempton for new connections on his latest start. Hallstatt's sole victory on turf came in this race last year, however, and he could figure off a 5lb lower mark.
