Verdict

Most of these have been in action on the all-weather and EXCEEDINGLY GOOD should probably have won at Southwell on Wednesday when headed on the line by the well-backed Boy The Bell. Roy Bowring's mare did finish behind Jonnie Skull on the Fibresand last month and is worse off here but she's already proved herself over this C&D whereas Phil McEntee's charge has a woeful record on turf. Dancing Welcome and Libertino could prove the pick of the remainder but the former is also a maiden on turf while the latter hasn't managed a win so far on any surface in 21 attempts.
