Phoenix Flight was good value for his win at Great Leighs last week and he has to be respected under a penalty for that success but there is no guarantee that Sir Mark Prescott's gelding will appreciate the underfoot conditions here and a better bet looks to be DREAM OF OLWYN, who gets the vote over Prairie Storm. The last mentioned has shown gradual improvement in his short career and Andrew Balding's gelding has to be considered in a relatively poor contest. Man of Gwent has struggled since opening his account in a Wolverhampton maiden back in February, while Five Wishes has shown good form in sellers and claimers but she has struggled in recent starts in handicaps and looks too high in the weights. Reg Hollinshead's Opera Writer was well held in a Doncaster handicap last time but has claims on earlier form, although he may now be a shade high in the weights. The vote then goes to James Given's Dream of Olwyn, who was good value for her win over course and distance last week and she is taken to defy the penalty for that success.
