Division Two of the maiden doesn't look much easier and although Sir Michael Stoute's Sir Walter Raleigh certainly looks interesting in the breeding stakes the trainer's runners usually need their first outing so instead we are drawn to Michael Bell's newcomer FIRETAIL while Green Lightning looks open to plenty of improvement after just two starts. With a nice mix of speed and stamina in her pedigree the selection looks sure to flourish over this trip and further. Plenty of her relations where success stories and these soft conditions shouldn't be any problem. There's plenty to like about Sir Walter Raleigh's bloodline and this distance should be his modus operandi. Again the conditions shouldn't stop a good debut and he remains an interesting contender. Green Lighting mildly progressed from his debut effort on his last start and could show us more again while both Chink Of Light and Leader Of The Land have enough about them in their pedigrees to suggest a good first start. It's tricky in the extreme but Firetail might just have enough on debut.
