Verdict

It's difficult to fault the consistency of Absent Amy but she has a penalty to overcome in this. Self Employed is a serious contender as he looked on the way back at Doncaster and Serena Brotherton takes the ride while Thereabouts usually makes the frame, though was beaten in a claimer last time. OUTLAW TORN has been below par in his last two runs but earlier form, particular a win at Newcastle in July, suggests this should be within his capabilities and he gets the nod. Astrosapphire could also go close but it's difficult to make a case for any of the others.
