Verdict

Man From Seville won a maiden handicap over a shorter trip at Redcar back in May and Rancher picked up a seller over 1m4f on the Polytrack in the same month but TOBACCO is a more recent winner as he scored at Warwick three weeks ago and this looks no tougher despite a 5lb rise. Tim Easterby's charge gets the nod as he should confirm running with Dawn Beat, though the lightly-raced Frederick Alfred could prove a threat. Fitzwilly scored over hurdles last month and may improve on his earlier attempts back on the level.
