Verdict

James Huxham gave the reluctant Tarvini another fine ride at Worcester and the eight-year-old should be a factor here. Mister Moonax is tried in blinkers for the first time at the age of 13 and will probably find at least a couple too good again while Southway Queen is climbing the weights despite not winning, though usually goes well here. THORNTON ALICE came up against a well-handicapped rival at Worcester earlier this month and should stay this longer trip. She looks the one to beat under 7lb claimer Daniel Hiskett though Little Eaglet, the pick of Colin Heard's pair, is better than he showed here last month and William Percival won over 2m6f here 10 days ago.
