Verdict

A tough race gets proceedings underway with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Decree Nisi, Urban Tiger and Dad Says Heazle and the narrow vote is given to Decree Nisi. The selection was a fair third behind Twist Bookie last time out, thwat form has since been franked and off the same mark here he looks the one to be on. Urban Tiger rates the main danger now he drops to a more realistic grade and under conditions that suit he should be closely watched in the market. Dad Says Heazle is another that has shown a modicum of ability and he could improve for the fitting of first time blinkers so he could go well at a price. Of the remainder Dancewiththedevil could improve for the return to this faster surface but in a race where stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Decree Nisi to small stakes.
