In depth

Verdict

After six consecutive victories, including one over this C&D, the handicapper has gone to town on Jolly Roger and put him up 21lb since his latest victory at Aintree. That should be enough to halt him in his tracks and he has to give 22lb now to ROMEO AMERICO, who won easily at Fontwell on his latest start and is still improving. The bottom weight gets the nod to follow up with Dineur penalised for scoring over a longer trip here last week and Enroller beaten in a claimer at Worcester six days ago. Kusadasi and Red Hot Poker have a bit to prove at present.
