In depth

Verdict

Henry Daly is a shrewd placer of his charges and Sure Thing houses definite claims under topweight in a modest affair. There's a slight concern that this track may be a little sharp but he arrives in good heart and handles the ground. He's worth a saver as the choice, BELLS OF BERLIN, comes with risks attached. The four-year-old is a potential improver and Tim Vaughan has finally found some form after a strangely fallow period for the yard. The Pivotal gelding has every chance on his easy Wincanton success in early May but probably has a quirk or two and was most disappointing the last day. He'll need to do much better here but a chance is taken that he'll do so. First Morning is respected on his recent third to Planetoid here earlier in the month and will receive strong assistance from the saddle from the talented Gina Andrews
