Verdict

MARIE DES ANGES stepped up on previous efforts to win a novices' handicap at Worcester last month and the longer trip possibly caught her out at Bangor subsequently. She's struck up a good understanding with Rachael Green and the partnership should flourish back over a more suitable trip here. AP McCoy sticks with bumper winner Mad George, despite a poor first run over hurdles at Fontwell, while Shallow Bay should be placed to good effect somewhere this term and looks a better bet than stablemate Dandyvic.
