ESCARDO was rather disappointing last time when looking to have good claims in an ordinary Worcester handicap, having previously finished a solid second to Lajidaal at Fontwell last month. This is a trappy little heat but David Bridgewater's charge is tentatively awarded the vote as the handicapper has given him another decent chance. Lidjo De Rouge belied advancing years with a smooth Stratford success last time and should go well again under a 7lb penalty with Richard Johnson booked. The veteran seems to have taken on a new lease of life since moving to Richard Hawker. C&D winner Maizy Missile looks sure to deliver her usual game account despite topweight, whilst Diamond Eclipse and Beherayn have also shown sufficient to play a part.
