Wicklewood has gone close on a few occasions but has also been beaten in sellers and is still awaiting a first victory after 36 career starts. Despite showing little over hurdles previously, CHASING ACES was well backed in a similar contest at Uttoxeter in July but could only manage a seventh behind Amazingreyce. McCoy is back on board for the first time since the gelding won a bumper at Ludlow in 2010, however, and it's worth taking a gamble that a first-time visor will buck up his ideas here.
