Bathwick Man has failed to take advantage of a slipping handicap mark in his last two runs and has gone back up 3lb. The Snappy Poet landed a Uttoxeter maiden in July then was caught on the line in a Worcester handicap a week later. He's been raised 6lb but Matt Griffiths' claim takes care of half of that. PROVINCIAL PRIDE (NAP) had a battle with Cusheen Bridge at Huntingdon and was just touched off. A P McCoy has been handed the ride and Mike Hammond's charge can go one better. Strong Wind is on the upgrade though he'll need to be after being handed a 9lb rise for his victory over the track and trip in July.
