Verdict

EBONY EMPRESS could only stay on at the one pace when sent off favourite over course and distance four weeks ago but this looks a weaker affair and Neil Mulholland's mare is fancied to recoup losses. Winning bumper Garnock, third to Supreme Present at Stratford last month, looks the danger as she has the beating of Caldey on that run. Clonmore Dew was second in a Southwell bumper on her racecourse debut but was well beaten at Worcester on her latest start and may need more time.
