    Verdict

Shaweel is the clear pick on the weights but he wasn't at his best earlier in the season and much will depend what form he returns in. The tentative suggestion is the yard's second string CITY STYLE. Plum Pudding has a superb track record but he has often benefited from being allowed a soft lead and there's no guarantee that he will get that here whilst he could be a touch below this class. Bushman is a useful operator but is at his best with a little cut in the ground and this autumn ground may not have enough juice in it. Prince Of Dance has looked pretty good on both starts and was always to the fore when beating a useful field of handicappers at Salisbury on rain softened ground on his return from a fractured pelvis. Connections are hopeful that he can improve again but he's another that would prefer a little ease in the conditions. Shaweel is another that often races prominently so there could be competition up front whilst he has yet to recapture the form that he showed for Mark Johnston as a juvenile. The positives are the form of the stable and that he's the elected mount of Dettori but that will be reflected in his price. The yard landed this prize with their second string in 2006 and City Style doesn't have a great deal to find on the figures. He was below his best at Haydock in May but may just have needed more time to acclimatise and is one of only a couple in this line-up that are usually held up from off the pace. That may play in his favour so we'll chance our arm with City Style.
