      Verdict

The Hannon yard has won two of the five renewals so Nisser is a newcomer to note along with 120,000gns purchase Lord Kelvin and the Ryan Moore-partnered Recorder. Broadway Icon is out of a prolific mare and Pergamino represents Godolphin. Jimenez looks his yard's second choice behind Fang, expected to improve from a modest debut at Newbury along with Shalaa. But CAT ROYALE was beaten only a head over track and trip on his debut and a winner has already come out of the race. He gets the nod to go one better with normal progress.
