Verdict

Watch the betting carefully in this race but the one to side with could well be Unscrupulous, with Tiber Tiger, Honorine and Ace Of Hearts possibly proving best of the rest. Looking at the field. St Pancras seems to have lost his way for now, and Winning Venture has not registered a win now for three years, although he has been running pretty well and has been fairly lightly-raced during that time. On official ratings, Fiveoclock Express looks set to find two or three too good for him, but Ace Of Hearts looked to be coming to hand when second at Beverley last time and could go well again. Tiber Tiger has been well placed to win six times, including over course and distance from a mark of 74 last time. Much as he needs to improve again to score here, he can go well, even though he is not an entirely straightforward ride. Honorine showed solid three-year-old form and could go well if fully charged on her seasonal return Topton has also won here and is capable of going well from his current mark but he's 10 now and unlikely to spring any big surprises, whereas Unscrupulous, who has raced just six times is something of an unknown quantity. He is the type of horse that his trainer does well with and could conceivably be favourably rated. As such, particularly if the market speaks in his favour on his first run for 333 days, he looks the one to be on.
