Verdict

The handicapper may have taken a chance with SATURN GIRL and she's the suggestion in an open race where Audemar and Russian Jar could also figure. Neville Callaghan has provided the winner of this race twice in the past ten years and his son may be able to follow suit. The well related 210,000 guineas purchase caught the eye in an average Windsor maiden in which the progressive Strawberrydaquiri took second. She then landed another modest contest over the same course and distance despite running very green in the closing stages. That is a concern as she takes her chance in a competitive race but she has plenty of scope. Russian Jar was just run out of things on her first start since May and should give another good account from a 3lb higher mark whilst Audemar has the scope to defy a 4lb rise in the weights if proving as effective on turf. Seek N' Destroy has failed to justify strong support the last twice but on the plus side is clearly deemed capable of scoring from his current perch whilst Elliptical won well last time but faces much faster ground. Sarasota Sunshine has been doing Nick Littmoden proud but will find this tougher and more of a threat may be posed by Glowing Praise who has had excuses the last twice. Archie Rice has more to prove but is slipping down the weights and capable of better than he's shown but we'll take a chance that Saturn Girl can make the required improvement.
