In depth

Verdict

The Snatcher, Fullandby and Lidbergh are the three for the shortlist here and The Snatcher is taken to fly the flag for the two-year-olds. Lindbergh won at Newbury and has run respectably when upped in class at Chester and Goodwood since but may find the weight concession to the selection too much. A similar remark applies to Fullandby who has also been running well, winning at Ayr in August and just touched off at Musselburgh last time. The Snatcher is the one to be on. Richard Hannon¿s juvenile is taking on his elders here but he is a tough individual and can win his fourth race. A winner at Windsor and Ripon earlier in the season he defied top weight to land a Newmarket nursery last time and can resume winning ways. The Snatcher is the selection.
