Verdict

Thistle Bird looks a good starting point here as she's progressing nicely and was second in the Celebration Mile at Goodwood and successful at Haydock after giving Moone's My Name weight and a beating at Ascot in July. Roger Charlton's four-year-old looks the best of the older fillies, though Valencha is knocking on the door again and didn't enjoy much luck in-running when third to Sunday Times in a Group 3 at Doncaster earlier this month when Libys Dream and Bonnie Brae were behind. Dank narrowly reversed Haydock running with LADYS FIRST at Sandown last time and has the beating of the Godolphin pair Falls Of Lora and Irish History on that run but Richard Fahey's runner-up is now 3lb better off and can come out on top this time. The progressive Chigun ran away with an Ascot handicap earlier this month but faces better opposition today.
