      Verdict

Looking On made an encouraging reappearance at Nottingham and should be winning soon but the filly Hayaku is starting to look exposed and Press Office finished well beaten on his debut here in May and hasn't been seen since. A couple of newcomers catch the eye on breeding in this with SAILOR'S CHANT narrowly preferred to Tanaami. The latter is a full sister to a winner over a mile in the States but Mark Johnston's colt could be a little more forward today, though has clearly not been easy to train since being bought for 200,000gns last year. Charles Hills' Upcountry is also worth a second look, though his pedigree suggests he'll need further than this.
