Verdict

Some speedy types here and the vote is given to MULLEIN just ahead of stablemate Raggle Taggle. Ralph Beckett looks to have a strong hand here with Mullein and Raggle Taggle. The former is preferred as she has another year on her side as a four-year-old. Her two poor runs have come on heavy ground but now back on a quicker surface she is fancied to run a big race. If she fails to act on this quick ground (fairly well-held on sole start on good to firm), then it may be Raggle Taggle who can profit. She has a good chance at these weights and she had some good form on quick ground as a two-year-old. Pretty Bonnie and White Shift have been holding their form well, whilst Cake is quick and this may be her best chance to dominate a field for a while. Medicea Sidera is the oldest in the line-up; she will need to be pretty canny if she is to get back to winning ways in what looks a competitive race now that she is dropped in distance. Competitive fare once again but we will side with Mullein.
