Trojan Flight can come home in front of Brunelleschi and Cornus. A few of these are dangerously well handicapped on the best of their form whilst Lytton's connections will be hoping that blinkers bring the best out of their colt who showed talent last year. Richard Fahey has a modest strike rate at Newmarket but Trojan Flight may be able to improve on that tonight. He has never won in this class but this wouldn't appear to be the strongest race and he's on a decent mark once Moriarty's claim is taken into consideration. He would have finished closer with a clear run last time, ran one of the best races of his life prior to that and looks poised to open his account for the season. Brunelleschi is 3lbs higher than when beating Resplendent Alpha a neck over course and distance last month and it may pay to forgive him a poor run at Ascot where he never got into the race. He's closely matched with the Howling runner but Resplendent Alpha has yet to win on turf although he should soon put that right if his latest effort is anything to go by. Cornus has slipped back to a winning mark and shaped as though he could be on the way back which is more than can be said of the well handicapped King Caprice and Fantasy Believer. The Game is worth a market check on debut for Dascombe but we'll award our vote to Trojan Flight.
