    Verdict

SHREWD makes most appeal in today's underfoot conditions. He wasn't beaten that far on fast going here last time but won his previous couple of starts in testing ground and Michael Bell's colt has scope for further improvement. Quintilian's earlier poor effort in soft going is off-putting but handicap debutant, Monsieur Rieussec could figure if handling the surface. Divine Angel won her maiden in soft at Windsor and she's preferred to Sennockian Star, a winner over 7f at Chester last month.
