The winning run of KUANYAO can continue here and he can prove to be too good for Deacon Blues and Footstepsofspring. The selection has won five off the reel and has been a credit to Peter Makin, who has seen him go up well over a stone in the process. Even so, he was a ready scorer over 6f at Salisbury on fast ground last time and on the evidence of that he has outstanding claims of making it a six-timer. Deacon Blues has enjoyed both his career wins over today's 6f trip, though he looked a little out of his depth when pitched into a stronger contest here last time and from just 1lb lower he may have his work cut out once more. Footstepsofspring has been slipping plenty in the weights and given connections and his penchant for fast ground, if there is any money for him then we should take note. Viking Spirit is on a reasonable mark and should get very competitive, though Kuanyao is in sensational form and is not opposed.
