Diamond de Triano, Southport Star and Starship are the three that catch the eye here and preference is for Diamond de Triano to complete the hat trick. Starship showed promise at Lingfield before losing her maiden tag at Wolverhampton. A daughter of Galileo, she will enjoy this extra furlong but has a six month absence to overcome. She may just need the run. Southport Star has run well at Lingfield and Goodwood this season and chased home Pagan Crest on the latter occasion. The winner has run well in defeat since and the Fanshawe-Spencer combination, successful at Ascot in the Britannia with Sir Gerard, is in form. Diamond de Triano has scored at Nottingham and Carlisle, and although he is raised five pounds following his latest success, he is on the upgrade and should be followed until beaten. Diamond de Triano can win again.
