Verdict

A few of these contested a valuable handicap over 6f at York last weekend with Storm Moon faring best ahead of Hairy Rocket, Cosmic Chatter and Chilworth Icon. Cosmic Chatter could reverse that form over today's shorter trip but none appeal as the likely winner of this. Dutch Masterpiece was very impressive at Chester two weeks ago and must go well but Normal Equilibrium, who has also won on the Roodeye this season, never got competitive at Sandown last week and finished behind Dominate, who is better off at the weights here. MIDNIGHT FLOWER races over the minimum trip for the first time but this is a stiff track and she was always travelling strongly when springing a surprise over 6f here last time - she can defy a 7lb weight rise. Effie B looks a shade high in the weights but is very quick and may just hang on for a place.
