Verdict

Poor old Mubaraza gets no respite from the handicapper. He's gone up another 4lb since finishing fourth in the Chester Cup in May and is now 13lb higher than for his last victory. Repeater is heading in the opposite direction, however, and has a chance while Teak has been in brilliant form all summer. He beat Ray Ward over 2m5f at Goodwood in July and followed up over hurdles at Cartmel. Back to winning ways at Bath last time, beating See And Be Seen far more easily than the official verdict suggests, he must be thereabouts again but GABRIAL'S KING (NAP) had Ian Williams' charge well behind at York in July and looks a good bet to follow up. Entihaa, another recent York winner, is preferred to Sir Frank Morgan of the others.
