      Verdict

Another big field of maidens to mull over, with preference for Insiyaabi over Trees Of Green and Lang Shining; newcomers Alo Pura, Double Doors, La Lunete, Nutkin and Time Over will all pay to follow in future as well. Insiyaabi made his debut in the potentially hot maiden won by Novikov here last month, and was in no way disgraced in finishing fourth. John Dunlop's colt took time to get the hang of things that day, but picked up well inside the last two furlongs, so should know a lot more now. Trees Of Green has found one too good on each of his two outings to date, both on rain-softened ground. His form does not look as good as that of the selection, but he too has that bit of experience to call on. Lang Shining, third on his debut here last term, has been earning rave reviews on the gallops, and whatever he does here, Sir Michael Stoute's charge should improve. Double Doors is a half-brother to the useful Quickfire, while La Lunete is related to Rebecca Sharp on the dam's side. Alo Pura, Nutkin and Time Over are just three more nicely-bred individuals to make a note of, and in a race that should throw up plenty of future winners, it is Insiyaabi that gets the nod.
