In depth

Verdict

This is a very tricky handicap to end the card and a narrow vote is given to Ede's Dot Com, with Bateleur and Astroangel put forward as the likelty dangers. The selection was an impressive winner on his second outing beating a decent type in Early Promise. He did well on his handicap debut at Wolverhampton considering he seemed to hate the surface and back on turf we should see plenty of improvement. Bateleur won a similar race to this in good style last time and could still be on a handy mark. Astroangel has gone close on a couple of occasions this season and may do best of the low weights. Everymanforhimself is also worthy of respect despite top-weight, but Ed's Dot Com is open to more improvement and he gets our vote.
