Verdict

Land's End is pitched in here at the deep end but can justify the stable's confidence, He's A Humbug and Traffic Guard may provide most danger. This son of Danehill Dancer cost 40 thousand euros as a yearling but must have shown plenty in his first year as he was passed on for 200 thousand guineas at two. His entry in the Dewhurst adds even more confidence and he can go close for his back to form yard. Kevin Ryan sends down He's A Humbug who was highly tried last time in the Gimcrack at York. He was firmly put in his place that day but he will appreciate this big drop in class. Traffic Guard caused a bit of a shock when winning a Newbury maiden in great style. The form is working out really well, with both placed horses winning next time out. He should be open to plenty of improvement and he looks a major threat to all. Resignation is well exposed, but looks the best of the rest, however Land's End can take advantage of the weight he gets from the others this afternoon and he gets our vote.
