      Verdict

Ocean Tempest has won 10 races, the majority on soft ground including the Lincoln in March - he can go well at a big price. Code Of Honor failed by the narrowest margin to catch Educate in last year's Cambridgeshire then went to Dubai. He returned to beat two rivals at Newbury and can get involved, though faces a stiff task against Educate at the weights. Clon Brulee prefers a bit further but soft ground will aid his cause which may not be the case for Grandeur, who has never won on anything but quick going. Zurigha has won twice at Listed level but is another unproven on the going while Fencing was twice behind Ocean Tempest in the spring. The unexposed Berkshire, who won last year's Royal Lodge but hasn't been seen since well beaten in the Greenham, could just need the run so in a wide-open finale it's AIR PILOT who is handed the vote as he looked a Group horse in the making when running away with a Newbury handicap on soft ground last month - that was only the fifth start of his career.
