In depth

Verdict

Moville showed some promise on his Ascot debut and Barry Hills has his string in good form at present so there should be more to come from the son of Alhaarth, while Tomintoul Flyer is an interesting newcomer from Henry Cecil's yard but Centennial looks the form pick and he gets the vote. The selection finished a creditable third on his Yarmouth debut but should improve for the run and he looks worth a wager. Keenes Day showed some ability on his Beverley debut and should do better here as most of Mark Johnston's youngsters do improve with racing, while Sheer Bluff may do better as a three-year-old. This is a contest that lacks any real strength in depth and Centennial gets the vote.
