This competitive mile handicap can go to PARVAAZ, who looks likely to prove a progressive sort, while Zakiy, Capital Attraction and King Of Reason can present danger. Michael Jarvis often sends a nice three-year-old to Warwick, where he as a good strike rate, and he did just that with the selection, who ran on well to win a maiden over 7f. He should be well suited by this quicker ground and the step up in trip, and the handicapper has not overdone things so we will side with him. Zakiy showed a good attitude to land his maiden at York on good going and he has it to prove on this faster surface, especially given his sire Selkirk's preference for it a little slower. Even so, he looks a leading player on his handicap introduction. Layla's Hero has the ability but perhaps not the stamina for this, while Sandown scorer Rakaan will need everything to drop right for him again, and George Baker is once more likely to adopt waiting tactics. Capital Attraction could do no more than beat moderate opposition at Lingfield but will have to improve, while King Of Reason won a egg-and-spoon race at Brighton and needs to show more to win from this mark. Parvaaz is taken to score.
