Expert has yet to finish out of the first two here in four starts and, despite a disappointing effort at Ascot last time, has to go on the short-list despite current odds. Charles Molson looked in need of the run at Sandown last month while Deeds Not Words should have benefited from his third at Thirsk, though will do well to confirm Goodwood running last year with Expert on much worse terms and might also struggle to confirm Bath form with Fear Or Favour. Roger Charlton runs two with Joey Haynes taking 5lb off the hat-trick seeking Stomp but we prefer stablemate STARS ABOVE ME. She was just beaten by Nova Champ on only her third start here two weeks ago when Eastern Impact and Meritocracy were behind and can go one better granted luck in-running today.
