Judiciary made a pleasing debut for Saeed Bin Suroor when chasing home Arlequin in a Newcastle maiden on his debut last month and he has solid claims with the stable having done particularly well with their two-year-olds this season but there was plenty to like about the first start of WILLIAM VAN GOGH and he is preferred, getting the vote ahead of Munsarim. John Dunlop's colt has shown a decent level of form in both starts so far, latterly when a close third behind Coordinated Cut at Doncaster last month and he should be thereabouts again judged by that performance. Richard Hannon's Invincible Soul ran better at Newmarket last time and has to be considered as does Paul Cole's Pekan Three, who makes plenty of appeal on pedigree but he may prefer further. Nibani is an interesting newcomer from Sir Michael Stoute's stable but the son of Dalakhani is stoutly bred and is probably going to do better over middle distances next season. Luca Cumani's Sour Mash is another potentially interesting newcomer, while Rasselas has shown a reasonable level of form for Barry Hills and has to be considered. Jeremy Noseda's Theology ran well first time up at Newmarket earlier this month and would have every chance if able to build on that effort but it is hard to get away from William Van Gogh, who finished in front of him at Newmarket. John Gosden's colt made a highly encouraging first start when chasing home Fareej in what looked a decent maiden and, with the slightly softer surface likely to suit the son of Dansili, he looks the one to beat.
