Verdict

Three-year-olds have won three of the last four and are quite strongly represented at the bottom of the handicap. TETE ORANGE has suddenly found her form and followed an improved second place at Yarmouth with a spectacular victory there a week later. She's been hit with an astonishing 15lb rise in the weights and this is much tougher but has to be the selection. Storm Rider looked very promising when making a successful handicap debut on good going at Lingfield and started favourite for a 1m4f event at Newbury but he was soon struggling and found the trip much too far. Chapter And Verse has won three times on Polytrack and the same number on Turf yet is rated 16lb lower on Turf despite winning at Leicester last time. He has to be considered but Charlie Wells gained his only victory over a mile on fast going.
