          Verdict

A tough conclusion to the card and we'll take the plunge at what should be a decent price on IN SECRET, while Dragon Slayer looks a major player. The John Dunlop-trained pick has shown some decent form in maidens so far, when she has appeared to need the step up to today's 10f trip. That can help her to show her true worth, and from a painless mark of 69 she may well be one to catch right on her handicap debut. Dragon Slayer won't be easy to get the better of, having shown some ultra-consistent form of late. However, the handicapper might now be having the ultimate say and John Harris's gelding is vulnerable. York runner-up Tevez is better over shorter than this, while top weight Lord Theo is 6lbs higher than his recent course and distance win and that coupled with his general inconsistency means we will field against him. Apotheosis, General Tufto and Singora Lady all need the handicapper to do them a favour and we'll suggest In Secret.
