Dalmarella Dancer landed the odds with the minimum of fuss in a Southwell maiden but beat little and Alquimia makes more appeal. The latter scored nicely at Haydock last time a couple of lengths ahead of runner-up GHINIA. However, Pam Sly's filly was having her first start since September on that occasion and may well reverse running re-opposing on better terms. Both maiden winners on the all-weather, Platinum Pearl ran a better race on her handicap debut than The Silver Kebaya managed at Doncaster. But the latter may not have stayed the 1m2f and Ryan Moore's presence suggests a much better effort is expected today.
