SANS FRONTIERES ran well at this meeting last year and might be worth risking ahead of the solid yardstick Tranquil Tiger whilst Kingdom Of Fife and Palavicini probably rate the biggest threats of the remainder. That's a little unkind to Steele Tango who carries a penalty for a deserved success over course and distance in a Group 3 but the extra weight could prove to be his undoing and the relatively small field may not play to his strengths. Tranquil Tiger is also penalised but he has rarely raced over this short a trip and could be worth taking on despite the fact that he's got racefitness, not to mention form, on his side. Palavicini was just under 3 lengths behind Steele Tango in October and should have more to offer this term whilst Kingdom Of Fife has plenty of ability but hasn't always looked to be the easiest of rides and is another that may be ideally suited by a fraction further. The selection chased home Delegator in the Craven but had his season curtailed following a fine third to Black Bear Island in the Dante. He's entitled to need the run and has plenty of stamina in his pedigree so there are plenty of doubts but he's an unexposed, exciting prospect so Sans Frontieres receives the vote.
