Verdict

Olympic Glory had almost three lengths in hand of Artigiano and Lines Of Battle when runner-up to Dawn Approach in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot and there seems no reason why he won't stay this extra furlong. Glory Awaits caused a shock in a Haydock maiden when beating Letstalkaboutmoney and subsequent C&D winner Luhaif but has more on his plate here, while Operation Chariot probably has to improve on his victory at Sandown though has the scope to do so. Soft ground is a bit of a worry but MAXENTIUS showed a really nice turn of foot to extend his unbeaten record at Doncaster last month when London Citizen was last of the four runners. Peter Chapple-Hyam's colt is well worth a try in this grade and gets the vote.
