Verdict

Strategic Bid cost 260,000 guineas as a yearling and still holds entries in both the Dante and the Epsom Derby. That might appear a trifle optimistic at this stage but the Selkirk colt is obviously held in some regard. Sir Michael Stoute saddles a trio of runners with the US-bred Laashak arguably the most interesting. Midsummer Fair is from a family that's enjoyed plenty of success in North America but the vote goes to AIR TRAFFIC. Henry Cecil's colt is a full brother to three winners including useful miler Aviate and should go on to better things this year.
