Verdict

Eagle Rock finally took advantage of a tumbling mark at York last month when the hat-trick-seeking Big Time Billy could only manage fourth. Bernie The Bolt is thrown in on his old form but Twelve Strings needs some leniency from the handicapper. Arch Villain is eased in grade and Courtesy Call was in good form over hurdles earlier in the year while Waterclock is relatively unexposed and was third over this trip at Ffos Las on his latest start. The three-year-old Argent Knight has won twice over 1m6f and should stay the extra but COSIMO DE MEDICI finally looked on the way back at Sandown and, 6lb lower when successful over 2m2f here in 2011, can end his long losing run.
